Families are in for a treat over two weekends at Downtown East from June 17-19 and June 24-26. The Cartoonito Sensory Playground is perfect for preschoolers to learn through play. Older kids can enjoy the We Baby Bears Magical Box Obstacle Course, where they can bounce, climb and join the three bears on adventures. An All Stars Theatre will also run over the first weekend where the whole family can meet Cartoon Network’s most famous stars. Race Against Time - Science behind a Botanic Garden Tour

This session introduces the research facilities at the Singapore Botanic Gardens such as the Library of Botany & Horticulture, Orchid & Micro-propagation laboratory and the Herbarium. Highlights of this 45-minute tour includes a visit to the Herbarium which stores physical records of reference plant materials, some dating as far back as 1790. In addition, learn about our hybridization programme for orchids, a process introduced back in 1930’s by the then Director, R.E Holttum.
Recommended for ages 9 and above. Limited slots available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Social distancing requirements apply.

Visitors can expect an experiential walk-through of +Pavilion to understand how these themes resonate with sustainable construction. They will see, and even touch, the earth-friendly and sustainable materials used to construct +Pavilion. Visitors will be able to learn more about how building design, construction and operations can “build differently” and contribute towards building better lives in Singapore, and beyond.
