With the opening of Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTLs) to selected countries, travelling overseas with the family during this coming year-end school holidays is a real possibility again. However, if you still prefer to wait it out, then the next best thing is surely to book a night (or two) at one of the hotels right here in Singapore for a staycation with the family!
However, one problem I often face when booking for a staycation is finding a hotel room that can accommodate my entire family. Of course, booking one room is definitely way cheaper than booking two rooms for my family but I have to say it is a little difficult to find hotel rooms in Singapore with two double beds.
So I did a little research last year and compiled a list of hotels that have rooms with 2 queen-sized beds. And since the year-end school holidays is round the corner, I updated the list and expanded it to include 32 hotels!

Or if you prefer to have that overseas feel, book the Balinese-styled cabana instead.
The good thing is there are only 8 Cabana rooms in total so it is set in an exclusive area. But don’t expect a lot of amenities here at York Hotel because other than the pool, it only has a gym. But If you are looking to escape from the crowd and stay in a ‘different’ room, this Cabana might be the staycation you are looking for.

Located on the 4th floor of Jewel Changi Airport (near Lift H), YOTELAIR Changi is right where all the shopping and eating action is - which means non-flying visitors can also book a staycation and eat, shop, play non-stop at the numerous stores at Jewel.... and then head back to the hotel for a much-needed rest.
YOTELAIR Changi has a total of 130 cabins which are spread over two floors. The cabins come in two types: Premium Queens which are 110 square feet and sleep two adults and Family Rooms which are 226 square feet and sleep four adults. Located along Havelock Road and between vibrant Chinatown and Orchard Road, Furama RiverFront has recently upped the ante in providing more kid-friendly facilities for families... and it does not get any bigger than kid-themed hotel rooms! Besides the above Pirate theme, there are two other themes to choose from - either go deep sea-diving with marine animals in the Underwater World-themed room or set off on a medieval adventure in the Castle-themed room.
Each room comes with a bunk bed that features a single, double and pull-out bed to accommodate two adults and two children. As an added bonus, an XBOX game console is included in the room as well! Games can be loaned from the reception lobby.
If you prefer a wallet-friendly option, go for the Family Room or Premier Family Room which can accommodate up to 4 adults each. The former has 2 Queen beds while the latter has 1 Queen Bed and 1 Bunk Bed.

Of the six hotels in Resorts World Sentosa, kids rule big-time at Festive Hotel. Designed to be a fun and vibrant hotel for families, kids are greeted with sweets and a kid-tailored welcome pack upon check-in.
Its Deluxe Family rooms are comfortable options for family units of up to 2 adults and 2 children which are divided into separate sections for parents and kids, with kids having the option of sleeping on colourful loft beds.
