SuperPark Singapore Re-opens: What's New? What's changed? What's the Same?

 

SuperPark Singapore re-opens on 9 April 2021 at the same spot in Suntec City and we got a sneak preiew of all the fun that will be welcoming everyone from young to old!

After ceasing operations in November last year, DreamUs - the company behind Pororo Park and Tayo Station - has taken over the franchise and re-opened the super fun indoor adventure playground. 

In case you are not familiar with the SuperPark concept, it is essentially like a gigantic adventure playground, game arena, and sports park all rolled into one for just one single ticket price. First launched in Finland in 2012, SuperPark was started by a Dad who found that he couldn't enjoy the activities at the indoor playgrounds with his daughter as they are usually built for kids. With SuperPark, it is meant for the entire family – a place where toddlers, kids, teens and adults can all have fun in one park, whether you are scaling walls, jumping on trampolines or smashing balls at one another!

Like the SuperPark before it was briefly closed, the newly re-opened SuperPark Singapore is spread over two floors. Its first level is where all the adrenaline-pumping activities are located while the second level is geared towards younger kids and toddlers. Most of the activities remain but there are a few NEW addtions as well.

Its activities can be divided into 3 main areas:

ADVENTURE AREA

Flying Fox

(Level 1)

Whizz away on a zipline from one end to the other! There is added padded flooring at the end.

Kids' Trampoline

(Level 1)

If you have young kids and brought them to trampoline parks, you will know the fear of bigger kids colliding into them is very real. At SuperPark Singapore, there is a dedicated area specially for younger kids and it comes complete with with trampolines, foam pit and climbing walls!

Kid's Adventure City

(Level 1)

*No height restriction

Yes, the all-time fave of an indoor playground is still here! Climbing equipment, towers and tunnels - this adventure has play equipment to build coordination and bravery skills, as well as some digital activities for mental stimulation. 

Best of all, parents can also join their little ones in for some climbing and sliding fun!

Kids' Gym

(Level 2)

*Entry restricted to kids' height of 100cm and below only

This is a huge space where toddlers and kids who are 100cm and below can play safely.

Parents with toddlers or preschoolers can now enjoy bonding time together at the newly expanded Kids’ Gym that is filled with soft play obstacle course, a small climbing wall and the signature Sliding Mountain.

There are a slew of activities to develop a child’s motor skills, complete with fun and educational games.

Pedal Car Track

(Level 2)

Racing around the indoor park using leg power? I think it's something kids cannot get enough of. And best of all, the pedal cars comes in both kid and adult sizes!

Young wheelslovers will also be pleased to know that tricycles are now an option at the hugely popular Pedal Car Track.

Tube Slide

(Level 1)

*Min. 120cm to play

For older kids, there is the more thrilling Tube Slide. Drag your personal tube-tyre up the hill and slide all the way back down! And repeat.

Ninja Track

(Level 1)

*No height restriction

For the Ninja warriors at heart, this is a track suited to hone those ninja skills: agility, strength, balance and coordination. With 3 sections featuring 3 levels of difficulties, kids will strive to conquer the course in the shortest possible time!

*Note: This activity has shifted to the back of the Street Basketball area.

GAME ARENA

If you have tweens and teens in the family, this is the area that will get them excited. All of my 3 kids were still visibly excited when visiting the re-opened SuperPark even though they had been to the previous one already.

Archery *NEW*

(Level 1)

*Min. 100cm to play

This is a BRAND NEW addition! Unleash your hidden Robin Hood and shoot away to obtain the highest score!

*Note: This activity replaces the previous Robokeeper activity.

Baseball

(Level 1)

*Min. 140cm to play

Step into the batting cage to practice your swing. And trust me when I say it is definitely not easy as it looks... even though it's not my first time playing it! 😅

Street Basketball

(Level 1)

*No height restriction

New York-style court and just a pure, simple basketball match with friends.

Superball

(Level 2)

*No height restriction

Now this is entertaining chaos at its best! Split into 2 teams and try to shoot as many goals before the time is up. I guess this is the only time where kids can legitimately whack their parents with balls without getting scolded. 😂

SuperBowling

(Level 2)

It is like the bowling ball game at the arcade, but on a larger scale and with basketballs.Terribly addictive!

Superhoop

(Level 1)

*No height restriction

An exciting digital basketball game that can be played by up to 4 people at the same time. Shoot as many hoops as you can before the timer runs out.

SuperPinball

(Level 1)

*No height restriction

Pinball game where you use your own feet and normal size footballs to score as many points within a time limit.

iWall

(Level 2)

*No height restriction

The iWall is an interactive game that marry gaming with exercising. Try your hand (and legs) at virtual Tai Chi or start your heart pumping with a virtual parkour race across multiple cities!

Valo Jump *NEW!*

(Level 1)

Forget about the traditional trampoline, the Valo Jump is here to bump up the excitement level!

Located at the Trampoline area, this activity comes with digital sensors and you can bounce your way in this interactive game with plenty of missions and never-ending fun!

iTeacher﹒Lü *NEW!*

(Level 1)

This activity is located at the space where the previous Ninja Obstacle Course was at, and this is SUPER FUN!

iTeacher﹒Lü will consists of more than 20 interactive physical edutainment games whice makes use of a large space to work up a sweat storm!

Even better, most of the games are curriculum-based so they involve maths, physical education, geography and even music components alongside motor skills and cardio.

Just grab a ball and throw it against the wall to make your selection. You can choose to play together as a team or against one another - up to 8 players at any one time.

FREESTYLE HALL

Augmented Climbing Wall

(Level 1)

This is NOT your average indoor rock-climbing wall! This wall has integrated digital aspects with different kinds of games to increase the challenge.

Trampoline Platform

(Level 1)

All the trampolines one can jump... sure beats going to just a trampoline park, no?

And it comes complete with a heavenly foam pit so you can somersault with ease!

Super Climb

(Level 1)

*Shoes must be worn for this activity

No need to wait for your kids to drive you up the wall, do it youself at these colourful walls! LOL.

With 3 panels of varying difficulty, the SuperClimb is catered for climbers and first-time climbers of all ages.

Skate and Scoot World

(Level 1)

*Min. 120cm to play

*Skate and Scoot World only operates for 1 hour per session on Weekdays.

*You may bring your own protective gears, skates and scooters.

Flip, slide and skate away in the only indoor skate park in Singapore!

SuperPark's famous skate and scoot park, complete with awesome ramps, rails, and kickers... where anything goes. Hone your skills with a skateboard or scooter but remember, covered shoes have to be worn here.

Street Soccer

(Level 2)

Go head on with your best pals in a classic game of street soccer. The rules are simple: there are no rules!

SuperBoxer *NEW!*

(Level 1)

*Min. 140cm to play

SuperBoxer reacts by adapting to your movements. This AI game is fun for any age and allows you to learn how to enhance hand eye coordination, balance and accuracy. You can simply select setting to make it either a stationary punch bag or an actual boxer, and adjust any finer setting such as distance and reaction to start training like a pro!

SuperShop

Before you end the day, SuperFans may indulge in retail therapy at the brand new SuperShop which features sports-related gears, stationery and lifestyle accessories.

• Children aged eight or below must ALWAYS be accompanied by an adult with paid and
