Since its inception in 2005, the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown has become the nation’s largest and most spectacular New Year’s Eve celebration ! Make no mistake, it is THE countdown event to head down to for the sheer amount of fringe activities, events and of course, its magnificent Fireworks display!

Build a Dream Light Projection Show
In partnership with five welfare organisations and schools, Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2019 presents the Build a Dream campaign, a collective effort to support the less fortunate and contribute to their personal growth. From 26 to 31 December 2018, artworks created by students from these organisations will be transformed into light projections on Marina Bay’s iconic landmarks – The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, the Merlion and the ArtScience Museum.

The Civic District will be turned into a car-free activity hub for Car-Free NYE with various free activities to enjoy, such as fitness workouts, outdoor movie screenings and salsa dancing. A bazaar and lifestyle festival will keep avid shoppers busy, while kids will love the bouncy castles at Esplanade Park!
