First things first, how do you pronounce 'Tsum Tsum'?
Some Some or Soom Soom?
It is SOOM SOOM and it means “stack stack” in Japanese. And I have a good reason to ask that - because Southeast Asia’s largest interactive Tsum Tsum carnival has landed at CapitaLand Malls in Singapore from now until 2 April 2017!
Both the ladies at my home are crazy over Tsum Tsum and judging from the enormous crowd that flocked to Bugis Junction yesterday for the first-ever Tsum Tsum roving parade in Singapore, I think they are not the only ones.
Six two-metre-tall giant Tsum Tsum inflatables consisting of Mickey, Stitch, Dale, Winnie the Pooh, Piglet and Olaf marched from Bugis Junction past Raffles City to Plaza Singapura... stopping traffic and had hordes of people whipping out their smartphones along the way.
Definitely cuteness overload.
Unfortunately, the roving parade is a once-off event but fret not if you had missed it because there are plenty of Tsum Tsum-related activities happening at CapitaLand malls in the month-long Tsum Tsum carnival!
Recreating scenes from the popular Disney Tsum Tsum short series, shoppers can watch Tsum Tsums spring to life when the clock tower strikes Tsum o’clock on the hour at Plaza Singapura, test their agility clearing a ninja-inspired mini obstacle course at Junction 8 and Sembawang Shopping Centre, and get an adrenaline rush whilst racing Tsum Tsums atop robotic cars at Tampines Mall.
If you cannot get enough of these adorable Tsum Tsums, chances are you will be able to find them at one CapitaLand Mall near you. So with the March School Holidays coming up, here are the main highlights you and your family can enjoy:
PLAZA SINGAPURA

Create ‘Em
Participate in the Play-Doh workshop to make your own Disney Tsum Tsum characters with a min. spend of $30 in a single receipt at Plaza Singapura.

Colouring Contest (For 3 to 12 years old only)
