Star Wars Awakens at Changi Airport with Events (& a Bouncy Castle) for Kids!

This festive season, the Force awakens at Changi Airport.

And from the looks of it, it sure is going to be one galactic journey to the fantastic world of Star Wars! Starting from today until 5 January 2016, a host of Star Wars-related events will take place at Changi Airport (predominately at Terminal 3) and they are enough to make any Star Wars fan get all excited.

TIE Fighter Display
Venue: T2 Departure Hall, North Planter (near Burger King outlet)

Behold the life-sized display of one of the most iconic battleships of the galaxy – the TIE Fighter!

X-Wing Fighter Display
Venue: T3 Departure Hall - Immigration (Public Area)

If you support the Rebel Alliance instead of the Galactic Empire, then the life-sized X-Wing Fighter will leave you in awe.

And if you fancy getting into the cockpit of the X-Wing Fighter, be sure to grab those FREE tickets!

Tickets to board the X-Wing Fighter will be given on a first come, first served basis. There are 80 tickets given out for each time slot and you will be able to dress up as a Stormtrooper, Jedi Knight, Chewbacca or an X-Wing pilot!

Tickets will be given out every day from now until 5 January 2016, at the following time slots:

Weekdays: 10:00 - 12:00 | 16:00 - 18:00 | 13:00 - 15:00 | 19:00 - 21:00
Weekends: 10:00 - 12:00 | 13:00 - 15:00 | 19:00 - 21:00

Star Wars Interactive Wall
Venue: T3 Departure Hall - Immigration

Interact with the wall display and hear C-3PO as he speaks popular phrases from Star Wars through 10 spoken languages, as well as discover some fun facts about the new upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie, including a screening of the Behind-the-Scenes trailer!

Star Wars  Characters Meet & Greet
Venue: T3 Departure Hall - Immigration

Now, this is a photo opportunity NOT to be missed. Simply because there will only be SEVEN sessions for the Meet & Greet. Come face-to-face with the Stormtroopers and X-Wing Pilots over the next few Saturdays at 4pm:

Dates: 14 Nov, 21 Nov, 28 Nov, 5 Dec, 12 Dec, 26 Dec & 2 Jan
All sessions at 4pm

Obstacle Course with BB-8
Venue: T3 Staff Entrance (Event area opposite Check-in Row 11)
Dates: 12 Nov 2015 – 5 Jan 2016
Time: 12:00pm-10:00pm (Last session at 9:45pm)

If you have kids, you must never miss the Event area opposite Check-in Row 11 at Terminal 3. For starters, they will be able to test their psychomotor skills with a Norway-themed obstacle course designed just for the BB-8, the newest and cutest droid from the new Star Wars movie.

All they have to do is to successfully navigate and complete the course in record time with the App-enabled BB-8 and they will stand a chance to win exclusive Star Wars giveaways! Just show a receipt with a minimum spend of $30 to participate.

B-b-bouncy Castle!
Venue: T3 Staff Entrance (Event area opposite Check-in Row 11)
Dates: 12 Nov 2015 – 5 Jan 2016
Time: 12pm – 10pm daily

In search for more adrenaline-inducing fun? Look no further than the Winter-themed Bouncy Playground beside the BB-8 obstacle course!

Kids will go bonkers at the LED-lit bouncy castle which comes with a tall slide and a shallow ball pit.

There’s even a lighthouse with a rock-wall, so kids can scale up to the top and hit a button to light it up!

To redeem a play session of 10 minutes, present a receipt with a minimum spend of $30. One redemption is for one child and for one activity only.
