Enjoy your Birthday, Wifey

Today is the birthday of my best friend, my wife.

I had written a post of 15 things I love about her during her birthday last year and I think it is safe to say that nothing has changed. She has been by my side from day one and I could not have asked for a more supportive, loving, kind and generous partner-in-crime.

As a mother, she always goes above and beyond for the sake of our monkies. She is the calming influence in the family, and I marvel at the times she still resolves to spend time with the kids even though work overwhelms her at times. Because you know, having 4 kids in one household isn't exactly a walk in the park - especially if the eldest one irritates the hell out of you at times.

As a wife, she has consistently been the loving and caring person. She challenges me to become a better husband and father by showing me how to better communicate with her as well as with the monkies. I know that I am far from the perfect husband - having more than a dadbod for one! - but luckily (phew!), she loves me for who I am and I am a happy man.

My monkies had no choice. I am their Dad no matter what. But my wife made the choice to marry me so from the bottom of my heart, thank you dearrie for all that you do for our family.
