Have A Candy Luscious X’mas at AMK HUB

Do you smell it? That's the sweet scent of Christmas wafting through the air and if you have not done your Christmas shopping yet, this will be a good time to panic.

Well, not if you head down to AMK Hub's B1 Exhibition Hall where A Candy Luscious X’mas experience awaits.

The Perfect Trims Shoppe will be a great place to start shopping to one's content - from Christmas trees, baubles, trims and other ornaments, to toys and gifts, it has got you covered for everything this festive season. And in case you did not read my previous post, you could stand to win fantastic prizes in the Instant Festive Wins and redeem a Sweet X'mas Dreams neck pillow when you are done with your shopping!

If you are worried of the kids getting restless while shopping, unleash them on the Candy Factory House just beside the Perfect Trims Shoppe area where they will be kept busy (and happy) by the tons of activities!

There are loads of toys to give those little fingers a good workout, even kitchen sets and tool benches for some good'ol role-playing fun.

Oh, did I mention that everything is FREE for the kids to play? No minimum purchase is required and every child is welcome!

And if you are pondering what to gift your kids this Christmas, you could get them to pen their Christmas wishes on AMK Hub's Candy Luscious Wall of Wishes... and then sneak a peek. Heh.

I peeked at Ayd's wish after he has stuck it on the wall and it read 'Good Health'. I think he has got his priorities right.

One of the priorities though, when paying a mall a visit during the festive season has got to be soaking in the lighting displays and AMK Hub's Level 1 Main Entrance display got a tad sweeter than usual this year.

After all, how can one resist walking into a giant teapot that pours out candy fountains, or exploring cupcake houses and a humongous ice cream sundae? The monkies couldn't. Neither could I, as I went trigger-happy with my camera.

And if you can't resist snapping away too, that photo that you snap of yourself or your kids with any Christmas decorations at AMK Hub may just win you $100 worth of AMK Hub vouchers in the Candy X'mas Photo Contest!

Just upload the photo onto either Facebook or Instagram. For Facebook, post your photo to AMK Hub’s Facebook timeline and for Instagram, tag your photo with the hashtag, #amkhubcandyxmas. Remember to set your photos to public mode so that your entries can be viewed by the judges. The 10 most Candy Luscious photos will win $100 AMK Hub Vouchers each. You have until 28 December 2014 to enter the photo contest.

But all the posing for photos was swiftly forgotten when those tiny transparent floating spheres - otherwise known as bubbles - made their appearance!

Because quite simply, which child doesn't adore bubbles???

Not this fascinated darling for sure.

Add snow to the mix and cue madness all around!

Okay, so the snow is not exactly real snow. But try telling that to the kids, who were having a whale of a time all the same.

The Magical Snow & Bubbles show happens every evening (8pm on Mon to Thurs; 6pm & 8pm on Fri to Sun) from now until 28 December 2014 at AMK Hub's Main Entrance. And be sure to keep your eyes peeled for a photo opportunity with Santa & His Merry Helpers who will be roving around the mall during the weekends too: Snowman & Candy Elf: 13 & 14 Dec 2014; Santa & Santarina: 20 & 21, 27 & 28 Dec 2014.
