“PAPAAAAAAAAAAAAA! 

My tee's label is irritating me! My jeans are tickling me! And my socks are uncomfortable!!!”

If I had $1 for every time I heard that, I would be rich. Instead, I just have to make do with snipping off labels, adjusting their jeans and fixing rumpled socks.

What is it with kids and seams/tags or anything that itches the body? My monkies - Ash & Ale in particular - are extremely sensitive to them. And more especially so for socks. If they are wearing socks for that one fateful day, rest assured that they will never make it through the day without complaining about how hot, icky and itchy their feet are.

Regular socks often have elastic bands at the tops of the sock that can often pinch, bind or be a source of irritation for children. But the non-binding fit at the top of the SmartKnitKIDS socks cleverly avoids the elastic band and allows them to fit comfortably without slipping down the leg.

But the mother of all irritation when it comes to regular socks has got to be the countless seams and stray threads present WITHIN the socks. But with the SmartKnitKIDS socks, absolutely none. See how smooth the interior of the sock is?

Since the socks fit so snugly that they would not slip off the wiggliest little toes, it is perhaps great to know that the high-tech fibers of the socks wick moisture away too which help to ensure a drier sock and help prevent sticky feet!

Of course, the real test came when the monkies got the chance to put on their pairs of socks.

And all I heard was… nothing. Absolutely nothing! No complaints, no whining and no itchiness. Pure bliss to my ears!

Their first reaction? Very comfortable, not itchy and... can we wear them in the house???
