Loving Marina Bay Photo Exhibition

There's something new happening at Marina Bay from tomorrow (3 Nov 2012) onwards, and it is the launch of the Loving Marina Bay photography exhibition at Clifford Square (beside One Fullerton).

Located at the heart of Singapore’s city centre, Marina Bay is the centrepiece of Singapore set to be a thriving 24/7 destination with endless exciting events and a necklace of attractions where people from all walks of life come together to live, work and play.

The Loving Marina Bay photography exhibition showcases the different facets of the Marina Bay precinct through over 100 photos taken by 20 of Marina Bay’s selected AmBAYssadors who are made up of Singapore’s popular bloggers and photographers.

And I am indeed very honoured to be one of the 20 AmBAYssadors, where four of my photos will be shared with everyone.

Check out the rest of the other 19 AmBAYssadors HERE. Many of them are established bloggers and photographers so truth be told, I am extremely humbled to be in the midst of such outstanding company.

A key objective of this exhibition is also to showcase Marina Bay's heritage over the years. Key historical landmarks such as Merlion Park and Collyer Quay form an integral part of the precinct’s foundation. Hence, there is an interesting Street Museum section which chronicles Marina Bay’s story over its first few decades since the 1960s, telling a story of strategic, far-sighted and meticulous planning and committed engagement to reach its present state through archive photos superimposed on its modern-day context.

This month-long event will see every weekend being full of exciting activities such as heritage walks and photography workshops led by the AmBAYssadors. You can be part of Loving Marina Bay too – just submit a photo taken at Marina Bay anywhere, anytime and stand to win prizes every week! Or simply pen a Love Note to your family/friends, drop it into the red pillar post boxes at The Fullerton Hotel and Marina Bay will send it anywhere in the world for you!
