Want an ulu place to go for dinner? How does eating in a Japanese restaurant perched ontop of a hilltop sound? On Jurong Hilltop to be precise.
Daddy & Mummy brought kor-kor & I to this restaurant called *surprise surprise* Jurong Hilltop Restaurant for some Japanese teppanyaki which is GREAT! 'Cos kor-kor & I can't argue with any food that is Japanese. Hee hee...
The place is so ulu that I don't think Daddy would have known of the place had we not seen the sign during one of our visits at the Jurong Bird Park. After a long winding dark drive up to the hilltop, we were finally able to get ourselves stuffed!
And since we had counter seats, kor-kor & I were simply enthralled at how deftly the chef was cooking our food...
Me think kor-kor was only too eager to open his mouth to eat! Hahaha...
We had beef, pork, fried udon, tau geh, and soft shell crab which was all very very yummy! Oh, and how could we forget kor-kor's & my fave - sushi!
There was even complimentary dessert for us at the end too, where we could enjoy the night view a little while longer. Although the both of us loved it everytime when the chef does his nifty erm, BOOMZ, fire trick. Hee hee...
Just don't get too close yah? :P
Remember, if you want counter seats, it's better to call and make reservations. Surprisingly, although it is soooooo out of the way, the restaurant was close to full house when we were there!
