One of the shows that di-di & I would be going would be this play called 'Into The Deep Deep Forest: The Nicest Egg in the World'.
SYNOPSIS
When three different mommy birds lay their eggs in a nest, they anticipate the hatching of their young with much excitement! Unfortunately for Duckie, not only did hers not hatch, she was unable to lay any more eggs, try as she might.
Disappointed, she sets off into the forest, only to find a big strange egg with ugly black spots on it. Duckie is pleased and adopts the egg as her own even though her friends laugh at her ugly egg.
But Ducky does not care and thinks she has the best and prettiest egg in the forest because she found it and it is hers. When time comes for the birds to fly away, Ducky refuses to join them and stays with her egg, waiting patiently for it to hatch. She plays, eats, sings, dances, hugs and even sleeps with the egg.
And when the egg finally cracks… well, what a surprise is in store for Ducky!!!
• The Nicest Egg in the World introduces children to the expansiveness of nature, the liveliness of colours, the notion of growth in a life cycle, ownership and the loving warmth of family life. PLAYtime is recommended for children aged 2 – 4 years old.

DUCK and DIVE! - The Ugly Duckling & The Frog Prince
SYNOPSIS
An Ugly Duckling who REALLY does not fit in at home…
A Frog who thinks he is a Prince…
Both need a family
Both need a best friend
Both want to be loved…
But both are very, very alone.
Follow the adventures and misadventures of these two cute, but confused creatures in their quest for acceptance and security, as we cleverly intertwine two classic fairy tales: Hans Christian Andersen’s The Ugly Duckling and The Grimm Brothers’ The Frog Prince.
A beautiful, poignant, hilarious and wonderfully silly tale of two creatures stumbling through situations every teen or parent might find themselves in, with fun and laughter that the little ones can join in safely and wholeheartedly.
A marvellous musical for the whole family to enjoy, in the best Broadway and West End tradition, with colourful costumes, wonderful sets, toe-tapping tunes.
