After a good night's rest, it was time to get down to serious business on Day 2 - theme park fun for di-di & me! Hahaha...
No trips to Seoul can be absolutely complete for any kids if they have never stepped into Everland - a mega-sized theme park with loads of sights, attractions and fun rides for the young and of course, the young-at-heart too.
It's like Disneyland, but without the recognizable Disney characters... but it's more than that too 'cos it also contains a zoo too which I simply loved. But more on that later...
First, as usual... the photos come first before we can get started on our rides. :P
With Mr. Sun making his presence felt, it didn't feel too hot though... all thanks to the cooling wind which made it felt like a fan was following us around all the time.
Our first stop was at Aesop's Village, which consists of characters from Aesop's Fables like the Tortoise & the Hare...
... which was where we had our first ride - A thrilling round-about ship ride that goes up and down at fast speeds! If it sounds scary, it wasn't lah... how scary can rides for those under 120cm be? Hee hee... but it was still fun, 'cos Mummy loved it too.
We had a walk around the colourful village...
... where we had a short ice cream break! Ooh... yummy!
Then it wasn't too difficult to guess what was next on our To-do list...
RIDES!
And MORE Rides!
Hee hee... we went for quite a few repeat rounds on some rides, all thanks to either di-di or me. In fact, for one particular ride, di-di refused to budge from his spaceship ride 'cos he wanted to go on it again... and again... and again. Tsk tsk...
Lunch was next... and we had to gobble it down really fast 'cos we wanted to make it in time to catch the Day Parade and grab a prime spot while waiting for the big floats to drift by us.
Ooh... and here came the colourful floats!
The blaring music was infectious... and such rhythms never fail to get di-di grooving.
Well, and me too. Sometimes.
Then it was time to hit the park once again... in search for more rides. Woohoo!
There was this beautiful big garden that was filled with colourful flowers... and I think Mummy was enchanted by it...
... while I loved the red roses best, 'cos my fave colour is (still) red mah.
We made our way down to the Zootopia section - where it was like a zoo, with many animals for us to visit. Like this cute pony.
How can I ever resist not riding a pony right? Heh.
The fun continued with me feeding birds...
... and getting really up close with various bugs and insects... like this butterfly.
There was even a petting zoo, where I got the chance to feel and feed a pristine white sheep...
... have a photo opportunity with some adorable rabbits...
... scare(!) some chickens...
... and feed a cow too!
Yup, I think I really enjoyed myself lots in this mini section of the theme park.
Oh, you must be wondering how come di-di wasn't in the petting zoo photos?
That's because he was taking his afternoon nap lor!
Aiyoh, so tak glam! Hahaha...
Part 2 coming soon!
