Despite feeling under the weather these past few days, di-di and me were generally in good spirits... which was pretty evident as we still continued to play wildly at home.
So with us feeling a bit better, Daddy & Mummy decided to bring us out for a morning walk by the sea... must get some Vitamin D mah. We were off to take a look at the revamped Big Splash at East Coast Park. Yippee!
There were so many new outlets at the Big Splash, but no more the whizzing down the long slide into a pool of water though. Drats. It happened to be its official opening, and so it was buzzing with loads of people trying out all the activities there.
I got to play in a jumpy castle, whee-ing down the slide... di-di didn't try though; he was scared. Hahaha... I also tried out my brand new tricycle, 'cos the old one is getting a bit small for my legs liao...
My new trike nice? So much easier to cycle 'cos my knees don't keep bumping the handles already. Hee. Hope di-di can cycle soon, so that he can join me in my biking expeditions! :P
But for now, I think he's pretty contented running along the track by the sea...
Along the way, I saw quite a lot of other kids roller-blading... and Mummy asked me if I wanted to learn how to skate. Of course I want lah! Most of them going faster than me leh, so fast is good! Hee hee...
Di-di was pretty perplexed when he saw this giant footprint while strolling along the pathway... hahaha...
And when he wasn't feeling confused, he was busy picking up things from the floor and trying to throw them into the sea. :P
OH YES! The Sea! Our fave playarea!
Since both of us hadn't fully recovered yet, we could only go barefooted and play with the sand...
Oh well, better than nothing hor...
Lucky it was a pretty sunny day, so it was a fun day out at the beach (although we could only play with the sand). No wonder di-di looked pretty disappointed. Heh.
Stomachs started rumbling soon after, and we went to Parkway Parade for lunch at Daddy's suggestion. Aiyah, he just wanted some aircon comfort lah... hahaha...
We definitely want to come back again once we are fully recovered. Til next time, Sea!
