After our fun outing at Ocean Park, we had our mandatory rest and dinner in the hotel room before charging out again.
This time to the Avenue of Stars.
Where we were able to see the full glory of the Symphony of Lights show. This lights show spectacular is on every night at 8pm and is basically a mashful of lights effects, consisting of laser beams, spotlights and also very prettily-lit buildings that are in sync with the background music.
Actually, we have a nice view of the show from our hotel room window. But since the show emcompassed 43 buildings that will be brightly lit while being synchronised to music, we thought we had better head out to the waterfront area to catch it.
We were there slightly early, so we (or rather, Daddy) grabbed the chance to add more photos to the collection. By making me pose with the handprints left by some famous Hong Kong stars. Don't ask me, I also don't know why they so careless to leave their handprints there lah...
Soon, the show started!
And Daddy got so excited that he grabbed the both of us for a horribly nonsensical photo.
HAHAHAHA... he was just trying to be funny. :P
Anyway, the show definitely had di-di and me transfixed. And after a beautiful 15 minutes, the show came to an end. At least I could still see part of the show again tomorrow from our hotel room window. Hee hee...
Oh, we stayed at YMCA The Salisbury for the first 4 nights there. It was an absolutely fantastic place to stay in. Its location is very central, walking distance to everything... the waterfront, Star Ferry terminal, museums, Nathan Road (shopping!), mega mega Harbour City mall (more shopping!!), the MTR, cosy eateries, supermarket... did I mention everything? Heh.
Oh, and we even went for a relaxing dip in the hotel's indoor heated pool! Shiok! And to think when Daddy first told Mummy that we were going to stay in the YMCA, she thought we were going to stay in some hostel rooms with shared bathrooms. Hahaha...
Oops, sorry for digressing... we'll be back for more updates of Day 4 of our trip. :)
