Yesterday was my 1.5 hrs worth of school time at Pat's Schoolhouse and boy, was I really really looking forward to it!
So when we arrived at the schoolhouse, I was so very eager for it to start that I sat down and crossed my legs...
Hahaha... actually, it was because Daddy whipped out his camera lah. So I just flashed my brightest Saturday Morning smile for him! :)
My kakis, Tim & Dylan, also attended the same class as me. But I think we all still a bit shy lah, so we didn't really play with each other; just the courteous 'hi' to one another. Hee...
First up - story-telling session by our teacher, Miss Phoebe. It was a farm book; with all the flip-flaps to reveal the various farm animals. As consistent with my character, I can't seem to sit still at all. Yep, even the big fat burly arms of Daddy can't pin me down for too long. Hah!
So after breaking free from Daddy's clutches, I walked right in front of the teacher and promptly 'helped' her turn the flip-flaps and pages. Hahaha... And of course, my big backside also blocked the whole class. Paiseh Daddy had to drag me many times away from the book ah... Aiyah, I was just trying to make the session more worth it mah... kekeke...
Next up was the arts 'n' craft session and we had to paste some fluffy cotton wool onto this naked sheep. Easy peasy for me lah... 'cos Ma-ma and Ku-jie already let me do before liao lor... Hahaha, yes yes, I yaya-papaya lah. Cannot ah? But I still had great fun sticking on the cotton wool; especially playing with the glue part.
TADAH! My over-fluffed, up-sized SHEEP! :P
Then, it was time for a well-deserved break! At first I thought break means go toilet, wash hands, do up hair, etc... But wah, got makan leh! So welfare ah... got Honey Stars cereal & milk for all the kiddos. Pitiful adults only get a cup of guava juice niah...
Music & Movement session was next and this time, we took refuge from Mr. Sun in an air-conditioned room. Cham liao lah... a filling snack + an air-con room = time to take a nap.
Hahaha... yah lor, I was feeling a bit sleepy and cranky during the music session. Must be also because I woke up at 7am lah... And so, most of the time, Daddy got to carry me and dance together with me. Yah, no need to imagine, NOT a pretty sight at all. Heh...
But but but, I remarkably became all pumped up and energetic when the teacher announced that we were all going to the playground after the music session! WOO HOO! So once we were out of the room, I practically jogged my way to the playground...
Can you compare my face expressions - one was in the music room; the other at the playground? Hahaha...
WAH! The playground was so fun! It had my favourite slides, open areas to run and this funny dome-shaped thing that I can crawl in and out. But Daddy cannot crawl in with me leh. Why ah? Erm... for reasons best not disclosed lah. Hehe.
If the music session had me in a cranky state, the playground session certainly brought out my boundless energy and enthusiasm out from nowhere siah! I have to admit that the playground bit was the most fun of the lot.
Unsurprisingly, it drained every ounce of my energy and we still had to attend one of Daddy's cousins' Church Wedding in the afternoon! But no worries man, we toddlers have this amazing ability to dong. And so , I dong lor... dong all the way from the church wedding in the chapel to the reception later. Hehe...
Hahaha, you guessed it. It was ALL because of the food. :P
The food was really yummy and I was having loads of fun eating (read: playing) with my plate of food. Until I got so excited that I broke my fork into 2 pieces...
OOPS! Better close my eyes to koon liao...

hey ashton, which pat's schoolhouse offers programmes for toddlers?
I go to the one at Serangoon. But I'm not sure what other branches offer that... maybe you can go to the website: http://www.patschoolhouse.com/ for more details? :)
