We went to visit the paed this morning. It was a scare for nothing. Apparently, the nurse miscommunicated the readings of the results to us.
The readings which she claimed was high was actually that of the bilirubin level. Duh, of course the reading is high since he is jaundiced.
In any case, so long as he is healthy, that's all we need! Now, I truly understand the importance of good health in a kid, it doesn't matter that he is not exceptionally gifted, talented or bright, all I need is for my son to be healthy.
One colleague of mine once told me, to be normal is in itself a blessing. I couldn't agree more!
