(Daddy hoppity hops)
LEGOLAND Malaysia is getting closer to its opening date! Gee, do I sound more excited than my monkies?
Well, actually I AM.
Because up to 8 lucky families from Singapore will have a chance to win an Annual Family Pass to LEGOLAND Malaysia! Read on to find out more!
To celebrate the start of the Easter festive period, LEGOLAND Malaysia and Kranji Countryside Association have come together and launched the inaugural Easter Egg Hunt.
Thanks to the kind invitation of LEGOLAND Malaysia, I was down at GardenAsia for the press conference. And the moment I told Ayd that I was going on a LEGO Easter Egg Hunt, he wanted to tag along almost instantaneously.
The organisers were thoughtful enough to set up DIY LEGO stations to keep kids who were present very busy. And one of the tasks they would have to complete was to construct an Easter Bunny out of LEGO bricks.
The above was the sample provided, and Ayd duly obliged of course.
With the kids kept busy, the press conference was underway. Madam Halimah Yacob, Minister of State for the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS), Mr Siegfried Boerst, General Manager of LEGOLAND Malaysia, and Mrs Ivy Singh-Lim, President of the Kranji Countryside Association were present to jointly launch the event.
See the LEGO egg in Mdm Halimah's hands? That was the sort of Easter Eggs that we would be hunting for in the LEGOLAND Malaysia Easter Egg Hunt.
8 Easter Eggs, constructed with LEGO bricks, have been carefully hidden within the compounds of GardenAsia and families will be given a worksheet with 8 clues as to where they are hidden. Once the eggs have been found, you are required to draw the pattern of that Easter Egg on the worksheet.
Okay okay, enough of talking. Let us get started!
Obviously, Ayd was only too eager to get the hunt going and find his first Easter Egg.
The first one was easy enough, and it made Ayd a very happy boy!
Be warned though - that some of the clues are not that obvious and one may miss the Easter Egg if you are not observant enough.
Found the Egg in the above picture?
The entire compound was huge! But luckily, Ayd was bent on completing his search for the 8 Easter Eggs.
And one by one, we hunted them down.
Until we came to the last one.
ALL DONE!
And once all 8 Eggs have been found, you can drop your answers into the Lucky Draw box there. And 8 lucky families will be picked to win Annual Family Passes to LEGOLAND Malaysia at the end of the Hunting period!
The Easter Egg Hunt will end on 25th April 2012, and from this activity, the organisers hope to promote the benefits of education through playful learning about gardening, botany and the great outdoors in the countryside. A place where children of today hardly come into contact with.
GardenAsia isn't the only place to hunt down those Eggs. 8 Easter Eggs have been hidden at Bollywood Veggies, as well as another 8 Eggs at Farmart too! So you know what to do to increase your chances at winning those LEGOLAND Malaysia Annual Passes right? Find all 24 Eggs! Heh.
