Okay, this definitely has been a long time coming. And I think it needs no further introduction.
Ever since the Marina Bay Sands launched its light and water show called Wonder Full more than 6 months ago, Daddy has all along wanted to bring us to catch it.
But if you don't know, he hates crowds and jams so... it was all thanks to last weekend's Kite Festival at Marina Bay that we finally had the chance to watch this FREE show by the bay!
The show employs the use of vibrant multicolored lasers, spot lights, fountains and video projection against a backdrop of giant water screens to tell the universal tale of the journey of life.
Together with the accompanying musical symphony, everything just converges into one great spectacle that had di-di & me deeply enthralled.
Just look at our facial expressions.
'Nuff said. Heh.
But perhaps that wasn't the icing on the cake.
The part of the show we loved the most, was when gazillions of bubbles filled the night sky during a segment of the show.
We monkies certainly needed no invitation to prance around, in an attempt to burst those floating bubbles.
Even the usually fidgety mei-mei was spellbound by the entire show.
The 13 minutes simply went by too quickly for di-di & me, but I didn't think there was going to be any chance for us to mill around for another 75 minutes to catch the next show. :P
And if you do go for this show, try to sit a bit further back from the Bay and not too close. In that way, you can see the show in its entirety and absorb the full effects of the show.
The Marina Bay Sands Wonder Full Light & Sound Show happens every night (weather permitting, of course) at the Event Plaza outside MBS with the following times:
- Sundays to Thursdays - 8pm and 9.30pm
- Fridays & Saturdays - 8pm, 9.30pm and 11pm
